Sixteen Year Old Girl Taken Poison In Lovers Quarrel
Miss Bessie Sanders aged 16 died after taking poison during a lovers quarrel. She and Walter Bowman were with each other late Sunday night and two hours after ingesting the poison she told her mother. A local physician was called and the death occurred Monday evening. She was the daughter of A H Sanders and a well known resident south of Jolietville.

Sheridan residents celebrate as five teenage boys aged fifteen to seventeen are arrested by Marshal McClay and deputies Ray Downs and Ernest Bradfield for chicken and egg theft.
