Death of Boone County man Edward Hickson reported
Paul Parr received a telegram from Pittsburg announcing the death of Edward Hickson of Pittsburg Pa in influenza Tuesday morning. He was a Boone County man who organized Hickson Manufacturing Co one of the nation's largest iron bed manufacturers. Funeral services were held in Butler Pa. Hickson was the last of his family.

Paul Nay Named Boxley High School Superintendent
Paul Nay, recently mustered out of service, was chosen as Superintendent of Boxley High School and began duties Monday. A Swarthmore College graduate, he left during his studies for military service at Ft Hamilton. He is a Sheridan High School alum from five years ago. Grant Wagner, who started the year at Boxley, resigned in December.

Pewee TM, also known as IM Lewis, returns to a lakefront bungalow after a brief liberty from Michigan City penitentiary. His daughter Myrtle prompted the comeback following a roughhouse last Thursday. He has a lengthy police record for cranks and disorderly conduct and was held at Noblesville before a guard recaptured him.
