Retired farmer seeks divorce in Carmel area case

Republicans Meet at Noblesville for 1914 Campaign

The county Republicans plan a mass convention at the Noblesville Courthouse tomorrow at 10 a.m. to organize for the 1914 campaign and set timing for nominating town ship and county officers. Hon John C. Chaney former congressman from the Second district will speak. A large attendance is urged.

Delinquent Tax Sales Set for February Across State

On February ninth the annual delinquent tax sales occur statewide. Adams township near Sheridan lists two delinquents while Sheridan has eight. Clay township reports none and Delaware one. Nubleville city has the largest list though overall totals resemble past years.

Work On Sheridan Ice Plant Underway

Active work on Sheridan's new ice plant aims for operation by March first. Built of concrete blocks, one story high, it sits east of the electric light plant on Ohio Street and will share the old jail site later used by the Light Company.

Deming Man Hangs Self Over Estate Dispute

John Revis, about 40, near Deming, killed himself with a target rifle at his home following disputes over his father's estate. He left a wife and two children, and an administrator found a little over $2000 buried on the property. Funeral was held Thursday at Cicero cemetery.

Park to be sold for delinquent taxes in Lebanon

Coulter Park, the city owned public green space in Lebanon, is advertised for sale due to delinquent taxes. It was donated last year with a stipulation to cover taxes and $300 annually for upkeep, which the city declined. Public parks show little appreciation in Boone County's capital.
