McGregor Divorce Case Highlights Alimony Fight
In Circuit Court Tuesday Mrs. Donald McGregor sought a divorce claiming abandonment after last seeing her husband two years ago at her parents’ home northwest of Sheridan. He now lives in Boone County and did not contest the case. Judge plans to await more evidence before fixing alimony amid Mrs. McGregor’s demands for substantial support. The town board met in regular session with all members present. Harris to teach history at State University this spring while remaining cashier at Farmers National Bank. his appointment follows a long history of education and diplomacy studies.

Fur Gloves and Blanket Theft Leads to Warrant
Charley Caldwell’s rig on the north side of the Golden Rule was robbed of a pair of fur gloves and a blanket. A warrant for Jack Mutchler of Boone county was issued but he was released after not matching the description. Alfred Hancock was later implicated and admitted taking the items claiming it was a joke and was bound over to the Grand Jury.
