Adams township farmers plan an institute at the Sheridan public library next Wednesday January 19. Speakers include Mr. Jones of Fairmount and Miss Barr of West Lafayette. Mr. Jones runs a 155 acre farm with cattle and hogs and specializes in pure bred cattle.

Treddore Johnson Dies After Stroke at 71
Theodore Johnson a longtime area farmer and respected citizen died at his son Dr P S Johnson’s Sheridan home from cerebral apoplexy. He suffered a prior stroke fourteen years earlier and a second fatal stroke ten days earlier while preparing for church. He leaves a large family including Horace Bert H B P S Johnson Ted Cecil Harry and Bessie Brendel with sister Mrs Susan Walker. Funeral services were held at M E church and burial at Little Eagle.

Mrs. C. E. Cox Rites Held for Sheridan Resident
Mrs. C. E. Cox died at her Sheridan home Tuesday at 10 45 AM. Aged 79 she had been an invalid for years. She is survived by two husbands and two children W E Cox and Mrs J E Burkett. Funeral at M E church Thursday by Rev McPheeters with burial in Crown View cemetery. The Cox family had lived in Sheridan for several years.

Farmer Sells Dapple Gray Team for 600 Dollars Near Lanes Chapel
