Land trading amazed agents as farms changed hands in a four cornered deal. W B H Cox sold 80 acres northeast of town to Mike Orr for 10000 pounds, with the Orr residence transferring to Cox. G H Cox sold 28 acres near Number 3 school to Jacob Bowers for 3000 dollars, then bought Joe Kercheval's 20 acre farm. Joe bought N Hinesley’s 100 acre farm east of town for 145 dollars per acre, now occupied by Emanuel Hinesley. Possession on all farms set for March 1.

Two new passenger trains were added to the Monon line with service between Monon and Indianapolis. Train Nos 17 and 18 were converted from mixed trains to straight passenger runs, arriving at Union Station at noon and departing at five p.m. This creates four passenger trains daily in each direction, while two fast freights are added but carry no local freight to Sheridan.

Missionary Cottingham to Depart for Luzon Islands

R. R. Williamson attended the Cicero funeral of his uncle W. T. Smith who died Tuesday. Smith had served as Cicero marshal and ran for sheriff two years ago. He gained prominence ten years ago flagging a fast mail train and arresting the engineer for violating the ordinance. Funeral services were at the Red Men K of P and other lodges.
