Stock Buyer Dies Monday in Lebanon
Charles Caldwell a Boone Co stock buyer and former resident here died suddenly in Lebanon Monday after a paralysis strike. Residing on Fifth street here he was known as a top cattle judge and once partnered with D. M. Hare in stock buying and shipping. He was 46 and survived by four children. his wife had died years before.

Atlanta Postmaster Attempts Suicide Over Office Discrepancy
Postmaster Philip s of Atlanta attempted to take his life Tuesday by cutting his throat but survived after narrowly missing the jugular vein. Officials found a missing funds discrepancy of about 170 dollars in the office, which was later made up. Phillips, in charge three years, plans to resume work but warned he may attempt again. Mrs Phillips and two children were devastated by the incident. Miss Bessie Auchenbach temporarily fills the post, as several applicants compete for the job.

Mrs Wm Norman Dies After Brief Illness At 68
Mrs Wm Norman died at her home half a mile south of Sheridan on Wednesday morning after months of illness. She was 68. Survived by husband and four children Hampton D W Cyrus and Mrs Jesse Beals. Funeral services in Wesleyan church today conducted by Rev W L Northam. The Sheridan News and the Indianapolis News offer one year subscriptions for 22.44.
