Adams township farmers plan an institute in the library on January 24 at 10 A M. Main speakers are T J Heacock of Salem and Mrs E T Stanley of Liberty. Heacock runs a 100 acre orchard and grows fruit and seed corn while promoting farm cooperation and community improvements. Stanley, a veteran lecturer, has spoken at Chautauquas and women’s conventions and is now living on a farm.

Fire Destroys Fine Farm Home on Chester Boone Place
A fire of unknown origin destroyed the Peterson farm residence, a modern six room house on about forty acres, half a mile south of Mikel's crossing east of Sheridan. John Rector raised the alarm. the house and contents were burned, with the incubator in the basement spared only in part.
