Local Masonic officers were notified Tuesday of the death of J. W. Dungan in Frankfort on Tuesday morning. He was about 78 years old and formerly lived in Sheridan. Dungan was a member of the Sheridan Masonic lodge and the G A R Post. He leaves two sons and a daughter, all residing in Frankfort and the West.

Town Republicans select committeemen in ward vote
Town Republicans met at the town hall Tuesday to choose ward committeemen under state headquarters guidance. Ship Sows To Georgia From Ogle and Parr Breeders
Ogle and Parr breeders of Hamp shire hogs sold seventeen brood sows Wednesday for shipment to Americus Georgia. The price averaged fifty five dollars a head for the lot. The sows were loaded in a car with twenty two others purchased at Lafayette.

Death of Thomas Ramsey at 72 in Sheridan
Thomas Ramsey aged 72 of South Georgia Street Sheridan died Monday at 5 am from heart trouble after months at home. Funeral held Tuesday at East Union Church conducted by Rev Riley of the M. E. Church. Burial followed in East Union Cemetery. He leaves a wife and one son Sherman Ramsey who lives northeast of Sheridan.
