The Hamilton county Mutual Insurance Company executive committee met at Noblesville on Monday to audit the books. The company shows about $10,000 on hand and only one assessment in the last eighteen months. Last fall's assessment was 25 cents versus 20 cents the year before. Losses for 1918 were about normal. Prosecution Officer Returns From Camp Taylor
Maurice L. Mendenhall arrived home after three months at Officers Training School Camp Taylor. He earned the rank of Second Lieutenant. His term as County Prosecutor ended with last year and no definite plans for the future are announced. He helped organize the Second Field Artillery in this community in fall 1917 but was not mustered into Federal service as a unit.

Sergeant Neal Thomas, whose Arcadia parents mourn him, died of pneumonia after influenza at Camp McClellan Alabama. He had been in service since July and was on furlough two weeks prior. Death Of Ralph Titus After Influenza At Sheridan
Ralph Titus aged thirty one died at his home on West Fourth Street Sheridan Saturday morning from pneumonia following influenza. His wife and four children were ill. others are recovering. He worked in the garage at Indiana Condensed Milk Company. Funeral was held at the home Monday and burial at Oak Hill Cemetery north of Kirklin. He was highly respected.
