City restores electric service after sixty days of hard work

Woods and daughter plan land entry in New Mexico
MEXICO WW Woods and daughter Caro plan to leave next Tuesday February 5 for Union County New Mexico to enter 160 acres each. They expect two weeks away traveling via Chicago and the Rock Islands. The region near the Texas line is opened to settlers and reputed to have fertile soil. Others in Oklahoma also contemplate moving there, with Woods hoping to settle in New Mexico if climate and land satisfy him.
