Campaign Opening Delayed by Roosevelt Visit in Indiana
The Republican State Committee postpones county campaign openings in Hamilton County to September 23 as President Roosevelt travels through Noblesville. A planned after noon speech by Senator Beveridge may follow. The Wright Davenport track hosts several horse races with entries across free for all trot and pace, three minute pace, and yearling events, first race at one o clock.

Levi Morris won the Thistlethwaite ditch cleaning bid for 4400 feet at R245, after which the board adjourned. Fisher’s Isher Thistlethwaite bakery sold to Oris Harvey, who plans to move to Sheridan. Harvey to run the business, Fisher returns to Elwood.

Calhoun suit tried in City Clerk's court on breach of warranty
John Calhoun sued W A Johnson in City Clerk's court for breach of warranty and the case was taken under advisement after a Saturday trial. In Squire Scott's court on Friday the State versus Lewis Boyer for assault and battery on W C Cline went to a jury and the defendant was promptly acquitted.

Ti City Band of this place returned from the Carnival at Noblesville late Saturday. The boys endured a hard week but praise the treatment they received at the county seat saying they were never treated better anywhere than during their stay in Noblesville.
