Stray Rifle Fire Tells Tragedy In Local Shooting

Five Ribs Broken In Horse Kick Near Sheridan
Thad Howard of southwest Sheridan sustained five broken ribs when a horse kicked him Saturday at the Ote Baskett farm while he helped thrash. He passed behind other horses leading his team into the barn when kicked. Two ribs were broken loose from the front and three from the spine, causing a painful injury. he will be laid up for several weeks.
