Six schools were represented at the Frankfort event with Doyle Mullen of Sheridan winning first, Honora O Hara of Tipton second, and Lawrence Lucis of Frankfort third. Mullen will speak for the ninth distance at the State Discussion in Bloomington on April 23. Judges were Vernan Sanders, D B Carroll and P R Hershey. Each contestant had eight minutes for speech and three minutes for rebuttal on the Railroad Problem.

Layton to Move to Indianapolis
C. E. Layton general manager of the Sheridan Water Light and Heat Company has sold his residence on South Ohio Street to Albert Baker and plans to move his family to Indianapolis around May first. He bought a home on North Capitol Avenue to be closer to his distant properties while the main office remains at Sheridan. Mr and Mrs Layton leave many friends in town.
