Lafayette editor Jass Walker dies in Indianapolis sanitarium
Jass Walker longtime Lafayette editorial figure and former publisher of the Sheridan Argus and Noblesville Ledger died at Stearns Sanitarium Indianapolis. Death attributed to softening of the brain. Survived by widow and son Clarence of Lafayette. Remains at Clarence Walker’s home. funeral in Noblesville.

Isherwood Sells Daily and Weekly Democrat to New Proprietors
R. Am. Isherwood, publisher of the Daily and Weekly Democrat, sold the papers and Tuesday new management took control. George I. Colbert and Arthur Van Doren of Adrian Michigan become the new proprietors. The daily will be renamed the Daily News with independent politics while the weekly remains Democratic. Isherwood plans to move west.

Noblesville Soldier Honored As He Returns Home

Louis Max Death in Wagon Accident Near Nora
Louis Max a fruit peddler of Jones Whion street was killed when his wagon overturned two miles north of Nora. The bananas in the wagon crushed him internally causing death before aid arrived. He was thirty six and leaves a widow and three children. The coroner ordered body removal to Laucks undertaking rooms for examination. He belonged to Odd Fellows and Maccabees who will conduct the funeral at his home tomorrow.
