Alley Adjustment Approved After Years of Debate
The Monday board session saw the alley between Second and Third streets west of California finally settled with a boundary to be surveyed next week. Viewers will assess benefits and damages. A single petition for cement walks on Seventh Street between Main and California was tabled.

Park Ave Contract Lets to Nolan and Slattery
Nolan and Slattery of Crawfordsville were awarded the contract Saturday night for the improvement of Park Avenue and Seventh Street. The firm also built Main Street last year and holds the Georgia Street contract. Four bids were submitted with minor manhole and inlet charges. Remaining bids include Vickery, Finley, and Kirkpatrick with figures for brick, walk, curb, and sewer components.
