Mrs. Geo Burton Dies at Home in Sheridan Township
Mrs. Geo W. Burton died Friday morning at the family home five miles north of Sheridan after years of invalidism and a stroke two weeks earlier. She was fifty nine. Funeral and burial were held Sunday at Hill's Cemetery. Survived by husband and five daughters Mrs Ted McKinney Tipton county Mrs Dell De Vaney Mrs Susie Miller Mrs Van McKinney and Miss June, all of the township. She was a daughter of James Jackson a pioneer of the community.

Local Boy Paul Hottinger Receives Medical Discharge
Paul Hottinger, in U S Navy service since July 19 1919, was treated in Bremerton Washington Naval Hospital for a broken ankle for six months. He sailed on the U S S Houston during a coastwise cruise and has completed all Western coast trips. He received medical discharge and returned home Sunday. he will be a cripple for some time.
