Famed Singer and Notables to Attend Aviation Ceremony
The first graduating class of aviation mechanics at Sheppard Field will receive diplomas February 24 in a ceremony for about 225 graduates. World renowned contralto Marian Anderson will perform, arriving by specially chartered plane, with many dignitaries including Mrs. Roosevelt and top War officials invited to attend. The event may be broadcast coast to coast by radio.

Whaki Khaki a lavish musical comedy opens at Memorial Auditorium at 8 p m tonight after five weeks of rehearsing at the soon to be opened Service Club Col E C Black commands the audience will include city officials and Dallas talent The show features eight original song and dance numbers a pit orchestra and a 70 member cast with satirical sketches and audience gags. O'Neill Replaces Lincoln at Tulsa
Major General Rush B. Lincoln, commanding general of the Air Corps Technical Training Command, was relieved and ordered into foreign duty. Col. R. E. O'Neill, previously in charge at Chanute Field, was named to replace him at Tulsa headquarters.
