A Milwaukee area mother travels on foot with her nine month old, after losing three relatives on the Lady Elgin. She carries a single $5 bill, identifies her brother and sister at the Chicago Court-house, and completes a 150 mile journey aided by free rail passes. Her son's body was not found.
