Drunken man shoots four during late night confrontation

A group near Ritchie and Arnold's butcher shop in Pievimont West Virginia last Friday night confronted a drunken man lying in the street. The assailant drew a pistol, firing three times. one bullet grazed Blisworth Powell and another hit Marc Powell in the chest. Robers Glover House Set Afire by Ren Meay Ring

Ritelsle Court House West Virginia reports an alleged Ren Meay operation attacked Robs ert Glover residence near Southville. About twenty disguised men surrounded the house, forced Glover out, and fired weather-boarding with couch and fire. Glover escaped after a brief struggle as the dwelling burned, two others wounded, and all personal property destroyed amid county indignation.

Remarkable cause of Mrs Juha Greene's death reported

A 20 year old Mrs. Juha Greene of Troy New York died after a two week illness, suspected stomach tumor. An autopsy revealed a ball of silk thread pieces blocking the stomach passage. Electric Bitters advertised as a cure, with claims of widespread success. Auction notes list a large indebtedness around 16 million.
