The Shepherdstown Red Cross plans a three day clothing drive March 26 27 and 29 at Rumely Hotel corner room to aid war torn Europe. Jefferson county aims for 4000 pounds of garments including underwear shirts coats trousers and shoes for all ages plus bedsheets towels and similar items. Non essentials include hats neckties toys and foodstuffs. A horse and cattle sale and another sale are noted in nearby Charles Town and at W. A. Daniels on March 24 26.
