Ku Klux Placards in Winchester Shock Town Notice
A Winchester report describes placards found downtown nailed to trees bearing a heavy card creed of the Ku Klux Klan in black and red. The 12 by 24 inch signs appeared likely overnight and list a pledge to white supremacy and anti equal rights. The incident blends with a long list of local notices and an agricultural sale blurb in the same column.
