Shooting the Rapids in a Barrel at Niagara Falls
Philadelphia native C D Graham built a seven foot long barrel to ride the Whirlpool Rapids at Niagara Falls on Sunday. Towed by rope, the cask rolled wildly but stayed upright, passing the whirlpool and emerging safely at Lewiston five miles downstream. Graham, uninjured aside from a minor arm bruise, plans to repeat the stunt and may attempt Horseshoe Falls.

Wheat yields outlook from Rural New Yorker report
The Rural New Yorker summarizes over 4,000 crop reports.
