Power Line Survey to Map Eastern Power Network
The United States Geological Survey begins a Boston to Washington power production and distribution survey funded by a $125000 congressional appropriation. Led by W S Murray with Imlay Butler and Hutchinson, the study plans a main artery system fed by city plants and new generation to meet demand, aiming for completion in about eighteen months.
