Proposed extension of Washington and Ohio railroad in Loudoun County
A proposition has been made by leading Loudoun citizens to extend the Washington and Ohio railroad from Hamilton to Veghy Neves Gap and Charlestown. The plan aims to connect with Martinsburg and Potomac routes to supply anthracite and rare coal products, with President Faulkner and Pennsylvanian Centre possibly supporting the extension to shorten the line to Washington. The Board of Election Commissioners at various precincts names commissioners for the convention.
