The department of market regulations cited secret rebates and price concessions to preferred buyers and demanded immediate changes with public assurances that such concessions have stopped.

Noah Saemann prominent Adell businessman and longtime Sheboygan real estate figure died Friday at St Nicholas hospital of heart disease at age 68 after eight weeks as a patient. He founded Saemann Schilling company and helped organize several canning firms and banks. Survivors include wife Alma, three sons Jesse Maurice Eugene daughter Carlyle Jewett, six grandchildren, and siblings. Funeral at 2 p.m. Monday at Robert H Kroos Funeral Home with Rev John W Perry officiating. Burial in Wildwood cemetery.

Mrs Milka Carambozta a Gipsy arrested in Milwaukee for allegedly stealing 600 from the Bank of Sheboygan pleads not guilty in municipal court. Bail set at 600 and reduced to 500 cash. preliminary hearing scheduled for November 27. Att Humke contends innocence while DA Voigt asserts guilt. Other Gypsy arrests in Manitowoc tied to the case noted with travel in Cadillac and Hudson and possible cross city car switch.
Milwaukee residents Seymour Hennett and John J. Connelly were sentenced by Judge George Shaughnessy for roles in the payroll padding case. Hennett drew 1 to 6 years on one count and 1 to 3 years on another to run concurrently, in the house of correction. Connelly received two years probation. Martin Schubert Jr. and William Gleason await sentences next Saturday.
A bankruptcy petition was filed in federal court by Hagemeister Food Products company of Green Bay. Liabilities were listed at $491,826 and secured claims at $244,044. A. J. Ley, managing agent, signed the petition.
