He cited past water works gains, confirmed meter plans, and defended current rates against proposed changes.
A massive cyclone plowed through six Midwestern states, devastating hundreds of towns. Omaha reports over 100 deaths and many injured as fires break out in ruins. Mayor Dahlman asks the governor to mobilize the militia to restore order amid widespread destruction and panic.
Dayton Ohio reports flood levels easing with water receding from business areas and many residents moved to safe zones.
