Mineola New Jersey June 30 Walter K Wilkins aged physician convicted of murdering his wife hanged himself in Nassau county jail. After afternoon writting he used a trash can and rope to a pine, looped it around his neck and jumped off. He died after 8 o clock despite resuscitation attempts. The jury had recommended clemency but the judge sentenced him to the electric chair.

Auto Strikes Milk Wagon on Eighth Street
A North Side Dairy wagon was struck by an Overland auto on Erie avenue at 7 45 PM Saturday. The collision threw the wagon over the curb near Highth street. Matthew Van Stelle, horse driver David Van Stelle’s son, suffered a deep cut on his upper right leg needing six stitches and other minor injuries. The wagon top glass shattered and nitic spilled in the gutter. Klug the driver was taken to the police station. a charge and a $25 90 fine plus costs were set.

Greek Arrested for Stabbing in Coffee House
Thomas Kalkanis was brought before Judge John Meyer in municipal court charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm after a Saturday night incident at a coffee house on Indiana Avenue. Man’s $50 stolen from pocket during nap incident
