A horse belonging to Mr Rafleson at 2219 North Fifteenth Street was kicked by a rival horse owned by Mr Bennesmanng. The injured animal had to be shot by Officer Riess after three shots, the sergeant noting the horse appeared war weary and used for pullets.
John Egert of City News depot was thrown from his motorcycle on North Sixth Street after a dog owned by Harry McNeill ran into the path of the bike. He suffered bruises and damage included a broken pedal and a piece of the fender.
