City council votes on mayor’s salary and rule change
In a committee of the whole meeting Ald Morris and Ald Meyer pushed two resolutions. One seeks legal action to force Mayor Dieckmann to declare as passed new rules. the other orders the city attorney to sue to recover 2400 dollars allegedly drawn as salary while serving on the water commission. The body approved both 9 to 6 with six aldermen opposing the rule amendment.
