Frank Rothe Sr. 79, died at 10 p m Monday at his home in Town Herman after a paralytic stroke. Born in Germany November 30, 1838, he migrated to Wisconsin in 1871 and began farming in Sheboygan County on March 15, 1875, where he lived. Survived by his widow, one son Frank Rothe Jr. on the family farm, and nine grandchildren. Funeral Thursday at St Peters Church with Rev Zeb officiating, burial in St Peters cemetery.
Christ Herman through attorney Julius EK Kiefer of Milwaukee filed a 35600 damage suit against Eastern Wisconsin Electric after losing a leg and a foot when struck by an interurban trolley car. Papers were served on Raymond H. Smith, VP and general manager, by Sheriff George Goodell. Trial likely in fall circuit court term.
