August Tahl 41 shot wife Eleanor 9 and infant Betty May 5 weeks old in their burning Marquette home near Green Lake County. Two Racine Men Die in Van Dyne Crash Fire
Ernest Hanson of 130 Ninth Street Racine and Ed Kallberey of 1130 Villa Street Racine were killed when their car left a road near Van Dyne north of Fond du Lac and burned after striking a ditch. The crash occurred when a front wheel collapsed as the car hit a rail crossing a sharp curve near Northwestern and Soo Line tracks. Sheriff F W Schlank extinguished the fire and recovered the bodies.

Badly Injured In Accident On Highway 141
GottfIieb Kunstmann, 30, of 703 N Fourth street, suffered facial cuts burns and bruises when his Ford touring car crashed through a guard rail and posts, left the road at the curve on Highway 141 one mile east of Cedar Grove, and plunged down. No witnesses. deputy Oscar Schneidewind reported to the sheriff. He was treated at St Nicholas hospital by Dr Louis Van Altena and expected to be confined for some time. Kunstmann works at the Remig Biddell Fibre company.
