Manitowoc loses to pert Kosciuskos as Lakes Shore League crowds attend. Racine trails with lead trimmed as large crowds fill the field.
In Sheboygan at Athletic Park the Weinbrenners beat South Side Park 1 0. Racine’s Kosciuskos hosted at South Side Park in Racine and won 1 to 0. Manitowoc squarely edged Port Washington at Manitowoc 1 to 0.
Milwaukee game notes show Wenbrenners losing 3 to 0 to Jack Sheboygan at Athletic Park. Buster Braun and Schieffer starred in a pitching duel. Koch caught Liebel’s attempt and Meyers and team held scoreless threats. The City’s Business Men's Association produced a well written Sheboygan, the Land of Contentment booklet praising local industry and citizenship without exaggeration.

Six year old R Bogenschuetz son of Mr and Mrs George Bogenschuetz of 916 Union Avenue was badly injured Saturday afternoon when struck by a Milwaukee Northern street car near Lake View. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition with a gash on the forehead and possible internal injuries.

Miss Bertha Stricker daughter of Mr and Mrs L Stricker and Henry Neuman son of Mr and Mrs Fred Neuman were married this forenoon at 11 o clock in the bride’s parents home. Rev Trautmann officiated. A wedding dinner followed and the couple left for a short honeymoon to Milwaukee and southern points. They will reside on Michigan avenue after returning. The bride formerly worked at the Telephone office.
Daniel Mahoney a canvasser for the Mazeppa United Shows was arrested for drunkenness. He appeared before Judge Giblin who suspended sentence giving him three hours to leave the city.
Washington dispatch surveys Democratic mood on Balti more ballots with Speaker Champ Clark favored to win on the first ballot if New York and other key states back him. Letters from delegates in Michigan and Massachusetts echo Clark strength across the country as state delegations pledge support and organize Clark clubs raise sizable contingents to Baltimore.
About one hundred Social Democrats met at Central Labor hall and chose delegates to the state convention in Milwaukee next weekend. They also nominated a full county ticket and two assembly candidates plus a congressman. Notable picks include J C Meyer and J Bauernfeind for state roles and Fred Knevers for Assembly. Sheriff John Severin leads the county ticket alongside J A Kuster and R C Dassow for clerk and treasurer. Henry Gehms named clerk of court and F Guttheil register of deeds. Adam J Mueller named coroner.
Thousands visited Lake View as ideal weather drew crowds to the resort. A concert entertained guests at the Front palm garden while Gabler's Harp Orchestra performed for dancers at the Lake View hotel. Afternoon hours featured woodland strolls as city officials weigh purchasing park grounds nearby.

Several riders, including A Lorier Harvey Sonnemann and Mr Jonas, toured the country with multiple stops amid much sand. Charlies Cone and Arthur Brehm plan to return tomorrow from a three day southern state tour. BE Luethge Curtis Sell traveled to Elkhart Lake yesterday. John Eggert bought a new 1912 Excelsior motorcycle to be delivered in a month.
Miss Theresa Rohrbacher daughter of Mr and Mrs Geo Rohrbach and Arthur Schmidt wed Saturday at 7 am in St Peter Claver church with Father Van Treeck officiating. Bride wore a tan traveling suit and carried a bouquet. Attendants Miss Mary Rohrbacher and Jake Rohrbacher attended them. A wedding breakfast followed and the couple departed for a short wedding trip. They will reside in the city.
The Girls' Friendly Society will hold a social meeting this evening and all members are invited to attend.

Robert Marshall, theater writer for the Press, burst into flame when matches in his pocket ignited sparklers from a carnival parade. A staff rush saved him as a hole burned in his coat and the blaze burned from pocket to interior. His coat is at the tailor and he jokes no insurance means no fire sale.
Members of local U. C. T. No. 200 praise citizens and local groups for boosting convention week. Chairman H. A. Grucbe credits their generosity for a three day meeting ending Saturday night, calling it the most successful in state history.

John Ingelse of Sherman vicinity announced his candidacy for sheriff on the Republican ticket today. A former occupation, he currently serves his fifth term on the county board representing the town of Sherman. Inland observers noted the announcement amid local political activity.
