Marines Push Through Torey and Bouresches Front

American Marines renewed attacks on June 6 7 near Chateau Thierry advancing along a five mile front. They cleared Torey Bouresches and Neuillywood areas taking prisoners and seizing machine guns while repelling German counter moves amid heavy artillery and night fighting.

NLL Well With Badgers From France Cable

United Press reports Major Charles Williams, ex quartermaster of the Wisconsin National Guard and now quartermaster of the 32nd Division, sends a cable from France saying all is well with the Badgers who have seen heavy fighting and come through without defeat. The message was received by Adjutant General Holway of the Wisconsin National Guard.

Water Main Expansion To Reinforce Factory District

H M Scheflow will install a 16 inch water main from the river crossing on 8 Thirteenth Street to New Jersey Avenue and Fourteenth Street, spanning ten blocks to strengthen the factory district water distribution.
