Varsity Sets New Attendance Record at Madison Campus

Delightful Ball Closes Elks Convention in Sheboygan
The Elks wrapped their convention with a ball at Hayles hall attended by many dancers. Becker's Quartette provided music and the Sheboygan Concert Band performed at 10 pm, drawing a large crowd. Fountain Park concert attracted a huge audience as streets near eighth street became crowded. park lights glowed with Chinese lanterns for a festive display.

A Racine B O P E member delighted children at a convention, drawing about forty youngsters as he handed pennies, taught marching steps, and led a parade along Eighth street while buying ice cream for the group. The boys voted him best fellow of the event.

Manitou Player Injured Sunday in Milwaukee Care
Monk Lee, shortstop of the Manitowoc team, played a brilliant game against locals Sunday but was injured sliding to a base. He was unaware of the seriousness until the next day and is now in Milwaukee under a physician's care.
