Yuttowoc Wisconsin June 4 The Janes meeting of the Elks held in Sheboygan featured Judge Ikey Karel reelected state president and Waisau chosen as the next convention host Parade at 1 30 pm with 200 Sheboygan youths and 75 Manitowoc autos. A ball game at the Fair grounds pitted Sheboygan against Manitowoc. Karel presided and praised fraternal cooperation. He noted Wisconsin Elks lodge growth, membership gains to 8253 in 1918 from 7545 in 1912, and urged annual officer rotations while keeping a well informed secretary as archive and info hub. Suffragette arson destroys unoccupied mansion near Trowbridge
London June 4 reports a suffragette "ar son squad" fired a newly built unoccupied mansion at Westwood near Trowbridge causing 76000 in damage.
