Ada Factory Destroyed By Flames In Ada Village

Fire of unknown origin started at 10 oclock this morning and completely destroyed Robert Papendieck s cheese factory in Ada a village twelve miles northwest of this cell. Fire departments from Franklin and Howards Grove fought the blaze but could only prevent spread to nearby buildings. Loss estimate unavailable but insurance believed to cover building and contents.

Triple Car Crash Near Sheboygan

Three cars were badly damaged on Highway 141 south of Sheboygan near the Charles Reis farm yesterday afternoon. Mrs. C. C. Wilson of Milwaukee sustained a fractured finger and facial injuries, while Mrs. David Miller of Sheboygan suffered severe cuts and bruises to the forehead and legs. The incident occurred as Christ Almekinder neared a gate and David Miller tried to pass, with the Nash sedan driven by C. C. Wilson and the Jewett driven by Miller involved. Both women received medical attention.

Italian Aviators Set World Endurance Flight Record

Italian aviators Major Ferrarin and Captain Carlo P Del Prete landed at Montecello Field after an endurance flight of 58 hours and 37 minutes. They took off Thursday at 5:15 a.m., circling a 74 kilometer route, and were in the air at noon today.

Paul Koehn to Wing to Sheboygan in Travel Air

Paul F Koehn, a Sheboygan High School graduate and former lifesaver now an aviator, will travel from Los Angeles to Sheboygan in a Travel Air. He is expected to arrive at Sheboygan Airport on Saturday June 9, with stunt flyer Dick Renaldi joining him. Renaldi, a five year flyer and three year motion picture veteran, trained many pilots and taught flying to Wallace Beery.

Two Miles To Be Annexed To Kohler Village

Kohler seeks annexation of about 1,048 acres surrounding the village in a circuit court hearing before Judge Michael Kirwan. The plan, prepared by Detling Detling Whiffen, would include one acre owned by William Kesemann Sr. and add 88 residents to Kohler Co. territory, yielding a total area of 2,142.49 acres and 1,697 residents.

Mail carrier John Kwint dies in Highway 14 crash

Milwaukee report states 30 year old mail carrier John J. Kwint was killed when his car skidded off Highway 14 two miles east of Mukwonago and struck a telephone pole. Investigating officers described the fatal field accident as sudden and tragic.
