Boy teen thief admits nineteen bicycle thefts in two months
Louis Vetter, still in his teens, confessed to Chief of Police Dehne that he stole nineteen bicycles over two months. Missouri Supreme Court Frees Nausant in Contempt Case
The Missouri Supreme Court unanimously discharged William R. Nausant editor of the Kansas City Star from contempt of court in Jackson county. It ruled the article contemptuous but freed Nausant because Circuit Judge Guthrie prepared his opinion the night before trial. Nausant had been sentenced to one year in prison for publishing that Guthrie refused to dismiss a divorce suit until parties settled and paid fees.

Nearly a Hundred Motorcyclists Arrive for Journal Tour
Nearly a hundred riders arrived in the city for the Milwaukee Journal tour with pennants and chugging motors. Frankie Roesler led the group in the Journal press car and was joined by Harry Apple and T J Sullivan. The riders were divided into twelve divisions and stopped in twenty five cities over three days. One rider was arrested in Sheboygan for speeding but later released. Elmer Klumb of Sheboygan arrived with a perfect score, one of sixty to earn full marks and a Milwaukee Journal medal.
