Funeral services for Clement Murphy manager of the American Seating company Manitowoc will be held at Sacred Heart church at 9 a m Friday. He died of monoxide poisoning in his garage after starting a car engine to warm up. Rev Father Murphy of Sheboygan will conduct the rites assisted by local clergy. He married Mitsy Louise Rowlands in Manitowoc on July 18 1923.

Six people escaped serious injury when a Manitowoc to Milwaukee auto plunged into a ditch on the Port Washington road. Paul Goez 40 his wife Anna 29 and Mrs Jennie Dax all of Manitowoc were seriously injured treated at Emergency hospital. George and Frank Gocz brothers of Paul and Andrew Dax husband of the injured woman escaped with minor bruises. Sheriff deputies said the driver became confused at a red curve signal light and lost control of the machine. Anna Golouboski 60 of Milwaukee was struck by Helmar Heuer Racine while crossing R Street and suffered possible skull fracture with serious condition feared by attending physicians.
