Aus tin Eisenman a 16 year old Sheboygan boy who escaped December 30 from the Waukesha industrial school remains missing. He was sentenced by Judge Michael Kirwan last spring for assaulting his teacher Stephen Klevay and for breaking parole. He fled with two other boys after leaving no clue to their whereabouts. The escape stemmed from a fight over paying for a broken saw.
United Press reports fifty bandits attacked the San Bartolo ranch three miles from Puebla City, killing German owner William Hintz-Peter. J K Vandorly a 58 year old Seymour Iowa man shot his wife through the head at the BE H Conrad home in Rockford Iowa and then killed himself with a gun shot. The double shooting followed a quarrel according to authorities.
Milwaukee selects Captain Peter Steinkellner to lead the fire department replacing Thomas A. Clancy. Steinkellner, a twelve year veteran, serves as president of the city firefighters union.
