United Press reports dollar a bushel wheat trading on the grain market today as federal farm board support and gold policy influence prices. Around the country prices moved variously with Chicago, Kansas City, Winnipeg, and Minneapolis showing gains or losses. In Minneapolis wheat rose 1 to 1 1/2 cents above yesterday's close while Chicago buyers were said to favor co operatives over fixed prices.
A Plymouth county grand jury returned a secret indictment charging 13 corporations and eight individuals with conspiracy to restrain trade and to create a petroleum monopoly in Massachusetts. District Attorney Winfield M Wilbar released the indictment after a monthlong inquiry sparked by a complaint from Keith on corporations of Brocton.
New York AP report says Jim Baker, claiming eleven poison and gun murders, was declared legally sane after police questioning. He returns to his Tombs cell with relief, amid hints he might be demented, as doctors confirm mental normalcy.

Burglars broke plate glass windows at the Gray Gables on Calumet drive and the Dew Drop Inn on West Indiana avenue last night or early today. They entered and stole cigars cigarettes and candy. Sheriff L C Tasche reported no cash was taken and damages to cash registers were not found. Walter Marquardt and Hugo Neuerenberg are proprietors.

Senator Carter Glass of Virginia denounced President Hoover's economy policy as a cheap partisan display. He accused the White House of fear mongering over spending and noted that proposed next fiscal year appropriations were about 28.5 million dollars below budget bureau recommendations. Glass claimed Hoover aimed to inflame the nation against Congress and cast Congress as counterpoint to a straw man.
