Carlos Madero, 18, brother of Francisco I. Madero, states he would choose death over confinement after the former Mexican president is shot dead in a street battle. He plans to stay in the United States to finish his education, hoping Mexico may gain a safer government in the future. He fears for his parents as events unfold and notes his brothers’ deaths, while expressing resolve to remain abroad.
Associated Press dispatches report official investigations into the deaths of Francisco Madero and Jose Maria Suarez begun and expected to yield the same explanation as prior press releases. Bodies found behind the penitentiary were said to result from a second encounter with guards and attacking forces.

All but two of the executive officers convicted in December of promoting McNamara dynamite plots are here. Some favor President Ryan who was given seven years in Leavenworth now out on bail for re election.
In Trenton on February 24 Seeley Davenport and Jacob Dunn faced a charge of threatening the life of Woodrow Wilson. Dunn pleaded not guilty and remained jailed without bail.

O W Ware notes thousands miss ballots. Clark approves. Kansas has a vote by mail law and Wisconsin considers a similar proposal.
Engineer Koehn told a Press representative the mail letter to Nordberg was dated February 15 and mailed February 16. Nordberg confirmed the February 15 date, noting a stenographer error on February 5. The Press corrects the date and notes the pump’s merits remain as stated.
State charges Dr Froney with taking $100 from Miles Nugent while intoxicated at Peter Kauer saloon. Witnesses describe Nugent's drunken bout, Nugent's pocketbook missing, and Froney arriving to attend him. Testimony notes Nugent cashed a $200 check and kept $100, with further details disputed.
