In Menasha Wisconsin Mildred Cheslock age 1 and her infant sister Dorothy were left unattended while parents were away. Mildred placed Dorothy in a high chair by a stove with a rattle, then went outside. Sparks from the stove ignited the baby's clothing, and she burned to death.
