Madison Wisconsin state banking commission freed the Bank of Deerfield and Peoples State Bank of Mazomamne from restrictions by releasing 165000 in tied deposits. Green Timber In Marsh Will Be Protected
Vigorous prosecution of any person found cutting green timber in Sheboygan marsh was decided by town officials with District Attorney Charles Copp at Plymouth city hall. Copp stated that Kenya obtained power of attorney from officers of the Georgia Pecan and Peach company, whose property comprises a large portion of the marsh, authorizing action against violators. A Milwaukee circuit judge issued a temporary injunction blocking the state banking commission from enforcing the 15 percent maximum small loan rate.
