Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania United Press reports the Ster Malaria Brewing Co the state s largest brewery was seized by the U S government under the Volstead Act. The action marks the first brewery takeover in Pennsylvania and centers on alleged violations and penalties for producing beer above legal limits.
