Lake Shore Highway 17 Adopted by County Board

The Sheboygan County Board voted unanimously to relocate Lake Shore Highway 17 north of Sheboygan to run along the Lake Shore road and join the existing Highway 17 near Manitowoc county. The plan, reported favored by the state highway commission, would ease congestion between Erdmann and Sheboygan and pave about 170000 for 1926 road program.

Manitowoc Boy 14 Held on Serious Counts

Manitowoc youth Howard Martin, 14, is held on two counts after coroner’s inquest into the death of Mrs. Byron Sniffin of Sheboygan. He was arraigned for preliminary hearing, adjourned to December 14, $1,000 bond posted, returned to school. Martin is charged with manslaughter and failing to stop after injuring Mrs Sniffin when he fatally struck her Saturday night. He is represented by Attorney Bradf.
