A St Marys Guild event includes a Lumintege gala Friday at Gulf Hall Seventh Street Ontario Avenue with a sale starting 10 AM. The Catholic Woman's Charity group meets Friday at 2:15 PM in RO U Hall to elect officers and discuss business. Church groups announce socials, bake sales, and Christmas programs across Magal and nearby towns with varied venues and times.

Seventeenth Birthday Party at Hibe Home

Bernard Hager celebrated his seventeenth birthday with a party Tuesday evening at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hibe 1127 Clary avenue. Miss Bertha Kampmann daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Kampmann of Sheboygan Falls and Raymond F Young of Adell were married Wednesday morning November 24 at St Marys Catholic church in Sheboygan Falls by Rev Gooss. William Kampmann and Miss Viola Liebenstein attended the couple. Mr and Mrs Young will make their home in Adel and have the best wishes of hosts of friends.

Leader of gang fined for Sunday joyride incident

The ringleader Everett Byrum, 17, was brought before Judge Moyer in municipal court and fined $10 and costs for his connection with a party of six youths that used BD Mueller’s touring car on Sunday night. The other five boys were released with reprimands. in detention they caused a noisy disturbance.

Sewing Class Organized at Longtfellow School

A sewing class is organized in the Fourth Ward at Longfellow School as part of night school by the Vocational school. Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. Enrollment is open for those wishing to learn sewing and start projects tomorrow evening.

Shower Honors Mr and Mrs B A Schild at Lyceum

A miscellaneous shower for Mr. and Mrs B A Schild drew about two hundred guests at the Lyceum on Friday night. Guests enjoyed dancing and a late supper in a festively decorated hall. Mrs Schild, formerly Beulah DeVoy, wed Thanksgiving morning and now reside in Toronto, where Mr Schild is in business. H F Shadbelt is doing business in Grand Rapids.
