James Horace Alderman known rum runner was executed in a seaplane hangar at Fort Lauderdale Florida for the killing of two coast guardsmen in a pitched battle off Miami. President Hoover refused his clemency plea.
Mrs James Parrillo, twenty, bride of a few weeks, was found in a lake near Baraboo Wisconsin on Friday. An autopsy by state pathologist Dr F D Weeks failed to establish if she died by murder or drowning. Baraboo coroner and Sauk County attorney said skull fracture suggested homicide, while evidentiary details remained unclear.

Charles Bindt aged 52 of 1412 Lincoln Avenue was found in five feet of water north of the breakwater and brought ashore by police after reports of a drowning. Coroner Sonnenburg called at 4 am and believes suicide, aided by relatives who say he was despondent over unemployment. This marks the third drowning in a week for Sheboygan with Fred Petri and Rudolph Dickow previously found in the river.
Appleton Wis.
