City hosts annual Wisconsin Shoe Retailers convention with speeches by Mayor Schuelke and President Schieferry as J L Smig opens events. Mayor welcomes retailers, praising local industry on chairs, cheese, and crafts while stressing optimistic tone and the need for solidarity.

Jack Williams the Human Fly known for scaling tall structures will arrive by air Thursday and perform a winged stunt climb on the dome of the Sheboygan County Courthouse. He will ascend to the top at 7 pm amid a large expected crowd and will entertain with mid air feats in cooperation with aviator Me Nown. Williams has a twelve year record of risky climbs and plans to draw voluntary contributions from spectators at both the field and climb.
A Wednesday parade begins at 1 pm at Reiss Coal docks and travels three miles through the city from the post office. Washington dispatch reports Prohibition Commissioner Haynes ordering all prohibition directors to revoke licenses of brewers producing beer above one half of one percent alcohol. The policy of penalties is abandoned and violators face permanent closure of their operations.
Relatives and friends of soldiers who died in the recent war are asked to place daily floral offerings at the monument at N Seventh Street and Wisconsin Avenue. Many have already placed tributes, and officials say the monument should be kept fresh with bouquets honoring the dead.
Excavations started this morning for the Security National Bank and office building project led by Hugo Reisen of Paul Riesen's Sons, Milwaukee. Equipment and crew arrived to begin work at the east end of the block despite incomplete ground clearance. Mr. Riesen pledged rapid progress. Miss Clara Ploetz takes a two week vacation from Sell Bros. Co. store duties.
City Comptroller John Kummer and Poor Superintendent Frank Ira returned home after a two month Europe visit visiting early childhood scenes. Co. after a two week vacation.
Milwaukee district attorney Zabel issues a warrant for Leo Hofmeister organizer of a Wisconsin corporation with 650000 capital stock rivaling major rubber industries. The company bought four walls of the Joerns Manufacturing plant at Sheboygan after a $60,000 loss and sold $14 preferred stock. The case ties to a prior Press feature and stock sales spread locally.
Visitors with cars can use the Park ing Station at the corner of N Sixth Street and Michigan Avenue. Cars will be watched constantly and 30 percent of proceeds go to the American Legion.
