The widow showed remarkable fortitude, planning arrangements and stating she will reside in Italy while Gloria is raised as Italian, with Mrs Caruso returning to America to settle the estate and oversee art-collection removal.

Waukesha County District Attorney Young postponed the Fischer Beverage Company case citing insufficient evidence that the Fischer Beverage Company manufactured beer above the Severn law limit. Prohibition Commissioner Smith countered that the state has enough evidence for conviction and questioned Young's delay.

Matt Vreeke, the third member of a youth gang, was arrested by Sheriff Charles Koehn on a burglary charge after the alleged break in at the John Prezton residence on Grand avenue north. Vreeke and two others, Erwin Kroll and William Krechman, faced preliminary hearings with bail set at 1000 dollars. a fourth suspect nicknamed Blacky is being sought.

Milwaukee police arrested Howards Mertz on three warrants issued by District Attorney W C Zabel for leading a large swindle against Wisconsin home brewers. He allegedly used forged labels from the Yeast Company and Northwestern Extract Company Iowa to sell inferior ingredients for profit, amounting to about $200,000. The DA says thousands of gallons were homemade in Wisconsin.
Two people suffered serious internal injuries after a collision near John Schnitz Corners east of Random Lake Wisconsin. Dominick Watery and his son aided the pinned occupants of a southbound Jeffery car driven by Robert R Schoop and carrying Mrs Schoop, her two daughters and her mother. The Jeffery car overturned trapping passengers. all were taken to Dr Thomas E Mallorys office and to Milwaukee for care.
Associated Press reports Zion City enforces strict ordinances including dress and Sunday conduct. Frederick Stocktill faces a $65 debt to the city for smoking pipe and disturbance with the judge warning, This thing must stop. Stockstill replies I am stopped as my name would.
A 25 mile automobile sightseeing route through Sheboygan and nearby areas has been completed by the Sheboygan Association of Commerce. The loop starts at the Grand hotel and travels past the harbor, parks, residences, churches, factories, and Kohler with planned detours for Homecoming and street paving.
City crew completed cement pavement on Michigan Avenue from Fourth to Eighth Street at noon. Martin Kummer led the crew and set a new street-building record. The pavement may be ready for automobile traffic during Homecoming week.
